Position

Position
This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the department executive and assigned personnel in a professional, customer oriented manner. Senior Category Manager, Natural & Organic
Position
This position is responsible for product and vendor recommendations and performance of products and strategies associated with sustainability, natural/organic, and whole health. He or she utilizes category management tools to effect natural and organic sales, profit and penetration, pricing, placement and promotion. This individual is the key resource in the organization for natural and organic initiatives and standards, including employee education to ensure service excellence.
 
He or she is accountable for designing a sustainability initiative plan and overseeing the execution of the plan. The individual is also responsible for quality assurance investigation (QAI) for organic re-certification of the produce department on a yearly basis and maintaining all organic standards throughout the store. Position
This position is the chief quality assurance and food safety officer, responsible for managing the development, implementation and maintenance of quality assurance and food safety activities in manufacturing, retail and private label programs throughout the organization.  He or she ensures all relevant quality and regulatory requirements are met for products and processes; and insures compliance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements. Position

Position

Position
This position produces decorated cakes, cookies, bars, and cream cakes for special orders to enhance customers’ special occasions as well as extra “case cakes” to have available for sale. Position

A significant responsibility of the position is the coordination of work activity on the cook’s line, ensuring that the back-of-the-house food production is meeting the front-of-the-house guest service needs. The lead cook is accountable for assessing the workload, assigning duties, monitoring performance and redirecting cooking staff as necessary to maintain back-of-the-house production requirements. Additionally, the lead cook monitors product quality and food safety practices to ensure that food cost and quality standards are achieved. The lead cook assists the kitchen manager with the general management of back-of-the-house operations including such activities as product ordering, stocking, inventory management, production lists and adherence to cleaning and sanitizing procedures. The position requires an experienced cook who possesses expertise in kitchen operations and back-of-the-house processes with excellent employee relations and training skills. Servers - The server is responsible for all facets of the guest dining experience and ultimately guest satisfaction. Through attentiveness, knowledge, enthusiasm, professionalism and genuine care and respect, the server manages the guest experience ensuring that every need and expectation is met throughout the dining event. Responsibilities of the position include providing a friendly greeting and introduction, introducing features and specials, taking and processing the guest’s food and beverage order, delivering the order, checking for quality and satisfaction, taking and processing additional beverage and/or dessert orders and closing the transaction.

Cooks - This position is responsible for preparing foods according to company specifications, fulfilling customer requests, and following all safety and sanitation procedures.

Greeters - The greeter is responsible for ensuring service excellence for each and every guest. He/she is primarily responsible for greeting and seating guests as they arrive, and thanking the guest at their departure.

Dish/Bus Help - Assist the deli team by maintaining the highest sanitary standards for all dishware, including cleaning tables, sanitizing and emptying trash and miscellaneous clean-up tasks as assigned. No experience necessary.

Retail Specialist
Stock Supervisor – Ford Parkway
 
Position
This position offers full-time benefits including health insurance, dental insurance, pension, vacations and personal holidays.  Sunday is part of the regular work week and is paid at the regular hourly rate.  This position will be awarded to the most senior part-time employee in this store who applies for the position within the five-day posting period, provided they are qualified to perform the work.
 
The Stock Supervisor directs the orderly movement of products from semi-trucks to the store shelves. This employee also responds to or helps answer any customer questions about the store’s products and services. He/she helps with maintaining the Lund Food Holdings quality of customer service, as well as assume responsibilities of the overnight manager in the case of their absence, including product ordering. This position is also responsible for supervising the unloading of trucks, the storage, stocking and shelving of products, store appearance, and cleanliness and sanitation of the grocery department and back room.

Position
This position performs a variety of management functions with responsibility for day-to-day store operations involving all departments and supporting the general manager in all facets of the business operation.  He or she will have accountability for achieving financial objectives which will include labor scheduling such as payroll percents and productivity such as sales/labor hour.  Store supervision responsibilities include ensuring departments are appropriately staffed to support service objectives; assisting employees; training, coaching, developing, leading, and educating department staff; managing performance; maintaining favorable employee relations; maintaining facility standards; ensuring departments are well merchandised and product quality standards are achieved throughout the store; embracing computer technology to streamline processes and procedures to assist in achieving department and company objectives.  Additional accountabilities include complying with all policies, procedures and government regulations, as well as coaching staff to support and adhere to those.  The job requires frequent interaction with internal and external customers.

Qualifications
This position requires an individual who has a sound understanding of retail operations.  Additionally, well-developed skills in the area of leadership, problem-solving, employee development, coaching, mentoring and giving employee recognition and constructive feedback are needed.  The ability to effectively communicate to internal and external customers is required.  Previous use of company specific computer applications is desired; the ability to effectively use a variety of computer applications and technology is essential.
